Located in the heart of Old Town Manassas, The Philadelphia Tavern is a family-owned and operated American fare restaurant offering up a combination of South Philly favorites, like the classic cheesesteak or Mary’s meatballs as well as good old Tavern fare like Philly chili nachos, crispy wings, and fried cheese curds.
Originally Established in 1999, Carl and Mary Joseph brought the recipes, culture, and the 100-year-old bar from Philadelphia to Manassas, VA. The antique feel of the bar and atmosphere still brings you back to the “City of Brotherly Love.” The Tavern changed hands in 2015. After 5 years of ownership, renovations, and some new additions completed in 2020, the bar is glowing. The Tavern offers indoor dining as well as a large patio with an incredible awning for a great outdoor space. It is just steps away from the VRE and parking garage for easy access to this Main Street staple.
A constant Old Town for over 2 decades, The Philadelphia Tavern continues to provide its customers the upscale pub dining, quality service, and the Philly flair they’ve come to love.
